Fruity and exotic, Fink's Apricot Chutney accompanies smoked fish and hard cheese, and pairs well with fondue, grilled poultry, and rice dishes. The apricots for this chutney come from the Weinviertel region. \"Hackl's Apricot, which truly tastes like apricot\" – this slogan was Wolfgang Hackl's idea in 2009 when he took over his parents' business. 23,000 trees now stand around Atzelsdorf in the Mistelbach district, right in the heart of the Weinviertel, and each tree needs to be cared for and nurtured throughout the year. Summer pruning right after harvest, early thinning in spring, careful water management, and fertilization with compost provide the tree with nutrients.
