Nimmervoll Winery – Wine from Wagram
The Nimmervoll Winery is located in Engelmannsbrunn on the northern edge of Wagram in Austria, more precisely in the Lower Austria wine region. There, where the primeval Danube once meandered and porous loess soil, also known as Wagram gravel, formed, Gregor and Claudia Nimmervoll operate a modern wine estate with a good 15 hectares of vineyards and produce wines from Wagram. Optimal conditions prevail here for viticulture, especially for the production of white wines, which are characterized by fine minerality and creaminess due to the loess soil.
Nimmervoll Winery – Passion for Wine
In fast motion, the Nimmervolls built a model winery from scratch: the first vintage in 2006, winning the "Senkrechtstarter-Neueinsteiger" (Newcomer Startup) viticulture support award in 2012, and in 2016, three wines were in the "Salon," meaning among the 265 best wines in Austria. The young winemaker and his wines are also praised in Falstaff magazine. Gregor Nimmervoll is not a winemaker's son but a career changer who discovered his passion for wine at a very young age and persistently realized his goal of running his own winery, Weingut Nimmervoll. But it's not just the federal and state champion wines like Schafflerberg, Engilmar, or the Traminer Ried Fuxberg that bring great joy; the entry-level wines also impress with their great quality and are a delight. A perfectionist like Gregor can only deliver 100%.
