Organic Acacia Honey – from the Neber Organic Apiary in Styria

This organic acacia honey from the Neber organic apiary is one of the most popular honey varieties: very light, clear, and with a delicate aroma. It comes from the black locust tree (Robinia pseudoacacia) and contains the essential oil acacia, which gives the blossom honey its floral, characteristic scent and fine, mild taste. Due to its high fructose content, acacia honey crystallizes exceptionally slowly.

Beekeeping Philosophy and Origin

The honey is produced by an experienced beekeeper in Styria. With solid training and years of practice, he practices beekeeping close to nature and has been gently processing the harvest in his own honey-GENUSS-cellar since 2007. For the acacia flow, the beehives are moved to the Weinviertel at the start of the acacia bloom so that the bees can collect high-quality nectar. 100% natural – single-variety honey

The ultimate goal is to produce high-quality, single-variety honeys (Trachtenhonige). Only mature honey is shelf-stable and will not ferment if stored correctly. Each honey reflects the taste, color, and flow properties of its respective region and is matured and refined with great care.

In addition to acacia honey, the organic apiary offers many other single-variety and refined honey variations – e.g., with Bourbon vanilla, gold leaf, pumpkin seeds, or regional fruits. Quality and regionality are paramount in all products. Production and processing are organic certified.
