Guindillas, or Piments basque doux, are typical mild, green peppers distributed by Maison Ederki as a Basque delicacy. This special variety of pepper, also known as Guindillas, is characterized by its special taste, as well as its special appearance, thin like green beans. They come in doux - mild, or forts - hot. Pickled in vinegar water, they are fresh and crunchy with a sweet and sour, rather mild spiciness.

The typical Basque Guindillas, small green peppers, accompany every aperitif in the Basque Country and are a popular accompaniment to sausage and cheese platters and traditional Pintxos. Pintxo is the Basque variant of Spanish tapas. Pintxo or Pincho are small, artful bites that are skewered, as their name suggests. They are available in almost every Basque bar and at the end of the evening, you pay based on the number of skewers left from your Pintxos. Of course, the Piments basque doux also taste great with grilled meat or with rice and roasted potatoes.
