Tiroler Edle – Milk Chocolate filled with Tyrolean Mountain Apricot
The Tiroler Edle chocolate with apricot, filled with apricot pulp and apricot brandy, is a truly successful creation by Hansjörg Haag. With its fine ganache of noble dark and milk couverture and Tyrolean mountain apricots, it represents the Tyrolean region like no other. The Vinschgau apricots ripen particularly slowly in the alpine climate, making them especially aromatic. Master distiller Christoph Kössler skillfully extracts their fruity fragrance during distillation. It is precisely this fragrance that the chocolatier captures in the chocolate filling of the Tiroler Edle chocolate with apricot. The 50g bar is covered in 39% milk chocolate. Contains alcohol.
For their handcrafted chocolates, the Haag confectionery uses couverture from top houses such as Felchlin in Switzerland and Domori in Italy. This dark chocolate base is then enriched with milk from the Gray Cattle, creating a creamy milk chocolate that truly packs a punch.
Tiroler Edle – Gray Cattle in vibrant colors
Far from being gray, the uniquely delicious chocolate made from the milk of the Tyrolean Gray Cattle is anything but a gray mouse when it comes to creations and packaging. Hansjörg and Christoph Haag are constantly coming up with new creations for the delicious fillings: such as those with caramel and salt crystals. Therese Fiegl has given the Tiroler Edle chocolate equally creative packaging. Brown at the bottom indicates a milk chocolate, while gray at the bottom means a noble dark chocolate is inside the pretty paper wrappers. At the top, the bright color reveals which filling is hidden in the chocolate. For example, apricot is orange at the top, raspberry is red, and nougat is blue. To protect quality and taste, the small bar is wrapped in film made from environmentally friendly cellulose, making it plastic-free. We very much welcome this.
Noble chocolate from noble Gray Cattle for noble connoisseurs! This is how the Haag family from the village of Landeck in Tyrol describes their handmade chocolate. And that is by no means an exaggeration. We have rarely tasted such creamy chocolate and, above all, such delicious fillings!
