The fruits are harvested ripe by hand, pitted, cleaned, and cut, then gently cooked without additives or preservatives. Recipe for homemade apricot syrup
Mix pitted and chopped apricots with granulated sugar in a 1:1 ratio. Add the juice of 1 organic lemon and let the mixture sit for an hour. Add the same amount of water (i.e., 1 liter of water per 1 kg of fruit and 1 kg of sugar) and slowly bring to a boil. Reduce the temperature and let the mixture simmer for about ½ an hour until the fruits break down. Let the mixture cool slightly before pureeing it and then passing it through a sieve. Reheat the resulting syrup and fill it, as hot as possible, into bottles that have been rinsed with hot water beforehand. Stored in the refrigerator, it will keep for about ½ a year.
