This family business, with its long tradition in canned fish production, places particular emphasis on the quality and freshness of its canned sardines. It's no coincidence that production is ideally located directly at the fishing port, allowing for daily fresh delivery of fish without long transport times. Diligent hands clean the sardines and skillfully place them into cans with swift movements, before they are refined with olive oil, then sealed and preserved by steaming. Even the wrapping in the beautiful paper, featuring patterns of the Azulejo tiles so typical of Portugal, is expertly done by women's hands in no time.
