The Falorni Mountain Salami is a traditional Italian Salame Montanaro. The fine taste of this Italian mountain salami from Falorni is pleasantly accentuated by the skillful seasoning according to a traditional recipe. Falorni uses lean meat from the ancient Cinta Senese pig breed, which still lives in the mountains around Greve in Tuscany, for this salami. The mountain salami has a fine bloom, is air-dried and matured for at least four weeks in natural casing with noble mold, giving it an unmistakable taste and aroma. The Salame Montanaro is a whole Italian salami (approx. 350g).

Mountain Salami from Falorni – Italian Salame Montanaro

Macelleria Falorni, the butcher shop you can trust, has been producing Italian salami like this mountain salami, hams, and other cured meats for 8 generations. For over 200 years, the secrets of old recipes and artisanal processing skills have been passed down from father to son. The small butcher shop is still located in the center of Greve in the heart of Tuscany. When you enter, there's an intense and incredibly pleasant aroma, and the entire ceiling is hung with large hams, ripening there.

In addition to the correct seasoning and ripening conditions, the quality of the meat is crucial for the fantastic quality. The brothers Stephano and Lorenzo Falorni, who grew up with the tradition of Macelleria Falorni from childhood, therefore attach enormous importance to the origin of the meat used. Thus, regional breeds such as the Chianina cattle and Cinta Senese pigs, as well as wild boars from the forests of Tuscany, are mainly processed. Falorni's Tuscan sausage specialties such as fennel salami, Salame Montanara, truffle salami, or wild boar salami have a wonderfully authentic taste. They are so delicious, so flavorful, that you must not miss the enjoyment of these delicacies.

Macelleria Falorni steht seit über 200 Jahren für feinste Salami aus Greve im Chianti. In der traditionsreichen Metzgerei unter den Arkaden der Piazza wird mit Leidenschaft nach alten Familienrezepten produziert. Ob Cinta Senese, Suini Grigi oder Wildschwein – das Fleisch stammt aus der Region, wird sorgfältig verarbeitet und raffiniert mit Fenchel oder Chianti Classico veredelt. Ein toskanischer Genuss mit Geschichte!
