The Falorni Fennel Salami is a classic Italian Salame Finocchiona IGP from Tuscany. The pleasantly spicy taste of this Italian salami from Falorni is delightfully accentuated by the skillful seasoning according to a traditional recipe with wild fennel seeds. Fennel salami has a long tradition in Tuscany. Butchers used local fennel to produce tasty cured meats, as pepper from distant lands was too expensive.

Falorni uses pork from domestic pigs in this salami. The salami has a coarse texture, is air-dried, and ripened for at least four weeks in a natural casing with noble mold. The Antica Maccelleria Falorni Salame Finocchiona is an Italian whole salami (approx. 350g). Simply delicious!

Fennel Salami - Italian Salame Finocchiona

Macelleria Falorni, the trusted butcher shop, has been producing Italian salami, ham, and other cured meats for 8 generations. For over 200 years, the secrets of old recipes and artisanal processing skills have been passed down from father to son. The small butcher shop is still located in the center of Greve in the heart of Tuscany. When you enter, it smells intensely and incredibly good, and the entire ceiling is hung with large hams, ripening there.

In addition to the right seasoning and ripening conditions, the quality of the meat is crucial for the legendary quality. For brothers Stephano and Lorenzo Falorni, who grew up with the tradition of Macelleria Falorni from childhood, the origin of the meat used is therefore enormously important. Thus, mainly regional breeds, such as the Chianina cattle breed and the Cinta Senese pig breed, as well as wild boars from the forests of Tuscany, are processed. The Tuscan sausage specialties from Falorni, such as fennel salami, Montanara, truffle salami, or wild boar salami, have a wonderfully original taste. They are so delicious, so tasty, that you must not miss the enjoyment of these delicacies.

Macelleria Falorni steht seit über 200 Jahren für feinste Salami aus Greve im Chianti. In der traditionsreichen Metzgerei unter den Arkaden der Piazza wird mit Leidenschaft nach alten Familienrezepten produziert. Ob Cinta Senese, Suini Grigi oder Wildschwein – das Fleisch stammt aus der Region, wird sorgfältig verarbeitet und raffiniert mit Fenchel oder Chianti Classico veredelt. Ein toskanischer Genuss mit Geschichte!
