Milk chocolate with South Tyrolean apricots

In the small Oberhöller chocolate factory in Sarntal, amidst the South Tyrolean mountains, delicious gourmet chocolates are created with alpine ingredients such as pine oil, stone pine nuts, dried strawberries, South Tyrolean apples, or indeed dried apricots from South Tyrol.

However, in the family business of master confectioner Toni and his wife Paula, they don't just process ready-made couverture into gourmet chocolate, but produce real bean-to-bar chocolate. Toni and his son Michael purchase noble cocoa beans raw from the best growing regions, which they then roast, conche, hand-scoop, and refine with genuine South Tyrolean ingredients in their factory. They source fruits like these apricots from local, regional fruit farmers. Oberhöller chocolate is pure South Tyrol!
