Castelbel Porto – Tradition and Craftsmanship from Portugal

The production of natural soaps has a 300-year-old tradition in Portugal – Castelbel's own history began in 1999. Not far from the port city of Porto in northern Portugal lies the small village of Castêlo da Maia, which gave the company both its headquarters and its name: Castelbel – beautiful castle.

Initially, Castelbel produced private label products for a New York department store, later creating the Castelbel Ambiente series (lavender, rose, verbena) as well as the exclusive Portus Cale series, which, with its Portuguese product design, has found fans in Dubai, South Africa, and Japan just as it has here.
