Alpe Pragas Strawberry Fruit Spread is an exquisite spread, its taste characterized by sun-ripened strawberries from the Dolomites. The variety used, Senga Sengana, is an aromatic, old strawberry variety that our grandmothers already used for making jam. This variety ripens a little earlier, the fruits are smaller, but their intense aroma delights every gourmet.
In the Prags Valley, the Gruber family has been cultivating berries at an altitude of about 1250 m since 1994. The alpine mountain climate ensures a longer ripening period for the fruits and thus a particularly intense aroma. Natural cultivation is a top priority: seedlings are planted by hand, the fields are regularly tended, and watered with clear river and spring water from the Dolomites.
The fruit spread contains a high fruit content of 75% and is gelled exclusively with natural apple pectin. It contains no artificial additives, preservatives, colorings, or flavorings, making it gluten-free and vegan – a pure natural product.
