The berries thrive in the unique alpine mountain climate of the Prags Valley at an altitude of approximately 1250 m, where they ripen longer and thus develop a particularly intense aroma. The Gruber family has been cultivating them naturally since 1994: seedlings are planted by hand, fields are carefully maintained, and irrigated with pure river and spring water from the Dolomites. A high fruit content of 75% and gelling with natural apple pectin guarantee an authentic taste experience.
