Eco-wool – naturally!

Eco-wool is a natural and renewable raw material. The lambswool comes from lambs that are a maximum of six months old. It is particularly soft because the fibers are still very fine. After shearing, the eco-wool is combed and loosened before being beautifully dyed dark grey, spun into yarn, and then woven into this dreamlike blanket. It is barely itchy, breathable, and possesses excellent insulating properties. It warms in winter and cools in summer. Klippan does everything possible to ensure the blanket feels soft; for this, the Oeko-Tex certified lambswool is extra pre-combed, although this quality is naturally scratchier than a cotton blanket would be, and the blanket may shed a little at the beginning.

The dark grey Ralph throw can be washed at 30 degrees, either by hand in the bathtub or on the wool cycle of your washing machine. Set the spin speed as low as possible to prevent the blanket from felting. To ensure you enjoy your wool blanket for a long time, it is best to use a mild wool detergent and avoid fabric softener. Keep in mind that natural wool fat has a self-cleaning effect and you wash it out bit by bit with every wash. Hanging the Ralph blanket outdoors in the dark grey (fresh air) often means it no longer needs washing afterward. Airing it out also works perfectly against any sheep smell that may be present at the beginning.
