In addition to pure sea salt and brown sugar, the Asian Style Rub blend contains dried garlic flakes, onion, chili, fennel seeds, black pepper, and traditional Chinese spices such as sesame seeds, ginger and coriander, turmeric, lemongrass, and coriander leaves.

For best results, rub meat, fish or vegetables with olive oil or grapeseed oil 30 minutes before cooking, and then season generously with Cape Herb & Spice rubs, spice blends, or seasoned salts. But be careful with additional salt; most shaker cans already contain enough, so you can safely omit further salt.
