Christophe Harou founded Generous in 2013 after discovering he had a gluten intolerance and refusing to give up good cookies.

In the bakery in Tubize, the cookies are made by hand with organic ingredients and Belgian patience. Together with his wife, Théodora, and Brussels bakers Jean-Benoît and Aurélie Ghenne, Christophe built the bakery, which has grown piece by piece since 2013. Good taste does not need wheat, as Christophe sees it. Every variety has its own name and character, and Victor is the calm, reliable one among them.
