Giusti Fig Agrodolce is a vinegar specialty made from wine vinegar, concentrated fig juice, and concentrated grape must. A balanced, versatile dressing that captivates with its sweet, round, intense, and lasting flavor.

With its excellent balance between the acidity of the wine vinegar and the sweetness of the fig and grape juice, this condiment brings a wonderful, fruity-sweet balance to your dishes.

The composition of fine wine vinegar and fruit sweetness is an innovative idea from one of Italy's most traditional Acetaias.

Giuseppe Giusti Fig Agrodolce, Agrodolce ai Fichi, is fresh, full-bodied, and perfect as a distinctive seasoning to enhance the natural flavors of numerous dishes. The sweet and sour fig dressing is excellent for gourmet salads with fruits and vegetables, young and aged cow, sheep, or goat cheeses, risotto, desserts, fruit salads, and sweet and sour sauces, giving them a delicate fig note.

Giuseppe Giusti Vinegar – Aceto Balsamico, Condimenti, Agrodolce

The history of Giusti, the oldest and most awarded balsamic vinegar producer, dates back to the 16th century. For 17 generations, the traditional methods, recipes, and secrets surrounding Aceto Balsamico vinegar have been passed down. This has led to a unique success story for the Aceto Balsamico family Giusti.

Giuseppe Giusti was one of the first to put into writing, after centuries of oral tradition, the rules for producing a "perfect balsamic vinegar." The text, written in 1863 for the Agricultural Exhibition in Modena, names the choice of grapes, the quality of the wooden barrels, and the aging time as the golden basic ingredients for the best balsamic vinegar. The careful handling of raw materials, the long aging period, and especially the availability of barrels that have been in use in the vinegar factory for centuries are the elements that make Giusti vinegar so special and valuable even today.

That's why we carry the Giuseppe Giusti Aceto Balsamico vinegars from the Collezione Storia – the historical range. This selection consists of five Aceto Balsamico di Modena vinegars with different recipes and degrees of aging, created over the years by various generations of the family and awarded with a multitude of medals: featuring the first historical Giusti label, designed at the beginning of the 20th century, classified with the family's great pride, the medals from the World Exhibitions of the late 19th century, bottled in the historical Champagnotta bottle shape.
