The crispy Mini Schüttelbrot from Ultner Brot is the mini version of the traditional South Tyrolean bread specialty. For generations, Ultner Brot has been handcrafting Schüttelbrot, which resembles crispbread, from the best ingredients such as self-cultivated natural sourdough, organic rye and wheat flour from their own mill, natural rock salt, and spring water from the South Tyrolean mountains, baked in St. Walburg in the Ulten Valley. For over a decade, there has also been a new, smaller version: Mini Schüttelbrot in a convenient bag.

The delicious, crunchy Mini Schüttelbrot has an aromatic taste and is a true South Tyrolean classic that cannot be missed during a "Marende", a traditional snack. The Mini Schüttelbrot can be topped like a canapé with South Tyrolean bacon, "Kaminwurzen" (smoked sausages), deer salami, or Alpine cheese, or simply eaten as a bread snack with South Tyrolean delicacies. The small crackers also taste wonderful with a glass of South Tyrolean wine or a cold beer.

Schüttelbrot is inherently fragile. When shipped via parcel service, it is almost impossible to avoid breakage. Since breakage does not affect the quality or taste of the crispbread, we generally do not accept complaints in this regard.

Ultner – Traditional South Tyrolean Bakery

The love for baking and thus for good bread is a family affair at South Tyrol's number 1 organic baker. The traditional bakery was founded in 1919 by Maria Pircher-Schwienbacher in St. Walburg, South Tyrol, and has been an organic bakery since 1982. For master bakers Hannes and his father Richard Schwienbacher, baking is a holistic process: the best organic ingredients from regional cultivation, traditional craftsmanship, long resting times, and baking in a stone oven are prerequisites for the best bread. They make no compromises when it comes to the quality and unique taste of their baked goods, not even with the mini version of the great classic.
