The base for Pfeffersack und Soehne Lemon Salt is a flavored Flor de Sal from the Algarve coast. It is one of the noblest, most popular, and most coveted types of salt. The relatively low yield, hand-harvesting, and its excellent quality also give it names like "salt flower" or "queen of salts." This great salt is spiced up with the finest zest of the best untreated lemons. Intense citrus fruit together with noble Flor de Sal result in a great interpretation of the Mediterranean classic, which gives every dish an inimitable freshness experience.

It is rather unsuitable for cooking and simply a waste to season plain cooking water. We recommend lemon salt as a classic table salt for seasoning by hand.
