The Pfeffersack und Soehne Chicken BBQ Rub is a complex spice blend based on coriander, sea salt, pepper and dried herbs, but also contains cinnamon and ginger for that special kick.

The herbaceous Chicken BBQ Rub has a warm, spicy heat, rounded off by fine citrus notes and a hint of curry. Perfect for light dishes with all types of poultry, such as chicken, turkey or stubble geese, or even light meat. But this BBQ mixture, specially developed for good, tender chicken and poultry from the grill, pan or roasting dish, is not only a delight in summer.

The Chicken BBQ Rub is produced in the Pfeffersack und Soehne spice manufactory in Koblenz according to precisely refined and well-guarded recipes, before it is coarsely ground and put into the black ceramic jar. This preserves the valuable essential oils and aromas. You can crush it finely in a mortar before use or sprinkle it directly over food and dishes.

Chicken BBQ Rub – our tip

Depending on how fine you like the rub, you can crush it finely in a mortar shortly before use, rub it into the food to be grilled and let it rest for approx. 1/2 hour. For a whole chicken, simply mix BBQ Chicken Rub with lemon juice and olive oil, massage it into the chicken the day before, let it marinate chilled and then cook it the next day, e.g. in the oven, until the skin is beautifully crispy.
