Tiroler Reine – Mountain Mint – Liquid Soap 300ml
The Tiroler Reine Mountain Mint liquid soap has a pleasantly fresh scent, like the juicy leaves of mountain mint. This liquid soap, which can be used for both hand washing and showering, stands for freshness.
Mountain Mint – the scent of the Alps
We owe the sharp, cool, aromatic fragrance of mountain mint to the great love between Hades, the god of the underworld, and the nymph Minthe – if we are to believe the ancient Greeks. If you just lightly touch the lush green, serrated leaves, they release a scent that fills the entire room with freshness. This is due to the release of the essential oil menthol. Since ancient times, mint has been considered a symbol of hospitality, vitality, and above all, passionate love. In ancient times, bride and groom crowned themselves with mint. A dining table rubbed with mint leaves offered guests special freshness, and a mint wreath as a table decoration was intended to express the wish for well-being into old age. The character of Tiroler Reine Mountain Mint, in line with the power of mint, is strong and clear, fresh and invigorating.
Tiroler Reine Liquid Soap with fine lather
Tiroler Reine liquid soaps are true soaps: Unlike conventional liquid soaps, they are produced according to traditional manufacturing methods in kettles on a soap base – without synthetic surfactants, but with natural glycerin content. The selected basic raw materials include high-quality, nourishing olive and coconut oils, beeswax, which contributes to the pleasant consistency, and Tyrolean beef tallow, which was already used in earlier times for soap production. This traditional and local ingredient has a re-fattening effect and ensures a fine, creamy lather.
Tiroler Reine, an idea by Therese Fiegl, is a soap that incorporates the centuries-old knowledge of the Walde soap maker family to create distinctive soaps. Each soap tells its own story, from the Sellrain washerwomen and glacier milk, to the alpine rose and love, the forget-me-not, the resilience of the birch, the alpine valerian, to cowslips as harbingers of spring, the freshness of mountain mint, and elderflower, which conveys protection and security.
NOTE – Since spring 2020, Walde has been using bottles with a recycled plastic content. Walde Seifen aims to improve its sustainability in this area. These bottles are, however, somewhat thinner, which leads to indentations during filling. If you briefly open the flip-top cap, the indented area will even out again.
Tiroler Reine liquid soaps do not contain preservatives or emulsifiers. This can occasionally lead to changes in viscosity or color settling. Our tip provides a quick remedy: place the liquid soaps in a warm spot, for example, in the sun by the window, for a few hours, then shake them well – and the original condition will be restored.
