Tiroler Reine, an idea by Therese Fiegl, is a soap that incorporates the centuries-old knowledge of the Walde family of soap boilers to create unique soaps.

Each soap tells its own story, from the washerwomen of Sellrain and the glacier milk, to the alpine rose and love, the forget-me-not, the resilience of the birch, alpine valerian, cowslip as a harbinger of spring, the freshness of mountain mint, to elderberry, which conveys protection and comfort.

Tiroler Reine – the good soap

Exquisite ingredients, at least 3 milling processes, and extraordinary alpine scents distinguish Tiroler Reine, soaps from the Walde company. As the basic substance for the soap, Tiroler Reine has chosen shea butter, as there is no local plant-based soap base that comes close to this quality. The shea butter from the nuts of the shea tree comes from Burkina Faso, West Africa. The nuts are collected as part of a women's project founded only in 2009 called ABPJF (Association Burkinabé pour la Promotion de la Jeune Fille).

What is special about the vegetable fat of shea butter is the high degree of lipid replenishment after using the soap. The scents of Tiroler Reine are masterfully composed fragrances inspired by nature. Each bar of Tiroler Reine also disappears completely in the bathroom: Thanks to its low water and air content, the soap does not break into small pieces once it has been used for a while, but remains a smooth little piece of soap until the very end.
