Tiroler Reine – Forget-Me-Not – Liquid Soap 300ml
The Tiroler Reine Forget-Me-Not Liquid Soap has a wonderful floral scent, just like the small blue blossoms of the forget-me-not, and is free from synthetic surfactants. This liquid soap, which can be used for both washing hands and showering, stands for remembrance.
Forget-Me-Not – the blue scent of the Alps
Perhaps it is the small yellow stars in the middle of the intense blue of the blossoms, like stars in the sky, that touch us in a special way: from Europe to China to Japan, this flower is called the same thing everywhere: forget-me-not, ne m'oubliez pas, no-me-olvides, forglemmig-ej, Wu Wang Cao, and VERGISSMEINNICHT (forget-me-not). It is the symbol of tender remembrance, parting in love, friendship, and above all, loyalty. Many legends and poems revolve around this small flower: in "Blümlein Wunderschön," Goethe tells of a count who, lonely in a dungeon, had only one thought: that his beloved should not forget him. From the tower window, he chose the forget-me-not, whose sight was to promise him his beloved’s faithfulness. In Shakespeare's Hamlet, Ophelia says: "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance; pray, love, remember!" The flower and root were once used in love spells. For the Tiroler Reine Forget-Me-Not soap, the scent and color of the delicate blossoms were recreated – like the image of a flower meadow where the small blue flower catches the eye.
Tiroler Reine – Liquid Soap
Tiroler Reine liquid soaps are authentic soaps: unlike conventional liquid soaps, they are produced according to traditional manufacturing methods in kettles on a soap base – without synthetic surfactants, but with a natural glycerin content. The selected basic raw materials consist of high-quality, nourishing olive and coconut oils, beeswax, which contributes to a pleasant consistency, and Tyrolean beef tallow, which was used in earlier times for the production of soaps. This traditional and local ingredient has a refatting effect and ensures a fine, creamy lather.
Tiroler Reine, an idea by Therese Fiegl, is a soap that incorporates the centuries-old knowledge of the Walde soap-maker family to create distinctive soaps. Each soap tells its own story, from the Sellrain washerwomen and glacier milk, to the alpine rose and love, the forget-me-not, the resilience of the birch, the alpine valerian, the cowslip as a harbinger of spring, the freshness of mountain mint, to elderberry, which conveys protection and security.
These bottles are somewhat thinner, which can lead to indentations during filling. However, if you open the flip-top cap briefly, the indented area will return to its original shape.
No preservatives or emulsifiers are added to Tiroler Reine liquid soaps. As a result, changes in viscosity or color settling may occur from time to time. The original state is restored if the bottle is left in the sun on a windowsill for a few hours and then shaken vigorously.
